At A SpLash of Confidence, we’re all about creating a calm, relaxing, and welcoming environment for every client who walks through our doors. One important part of that experience is maintaining a scent-free space — and we’d love to share why that matters so much to us.

Our lash artist and studio owner, Jennifer, lives with chronic migraines. These migraines can be triggered by various factors — including the weather, lighting, and unfortunately, strong scents such as perfumes, colognes, and heavily scented products.

Even mild fragrances can cause debilitating symptoms like head pain, nausea, or dizziness — not ideal when trying to deliver the steady-handed, high-focus artistry that lashes require.

Creating a perfume-free environment helps ensure that Jennifer (and anyone else who may be scent-sensitive) can feel well, present, and perform their best during your appointment. ✨

Fragrance sensitivity is more common than you might think. From migraines to asthma to general discomfort, many people are affected by strong scents — and in a close-contact service like lash extensions, even a light spray of perfume can quickly become overwhelming.

By keeping our space free of perfumes, body sprays, and strongly scented lotions or hair products, you're helping to protect the health and comfort of everyone in the studio, including fellow clients.
